What you’ll do?

Product discovery & domain analysis

• Own problem framing: interview customers, analyze journeys, and synthesize insights into crisp problem statements and opportunities
• Translate business needs into clear, testable artifacts—personas, use-cases, epics, stories, acceptance criteria, and sequence/flow diagrams
• Deep-dive payment domains (A2A/RTP, card rails, ISO 20022, mandates, RfP, settlement/reconciliation, risk & fraud signals) and connect them to product strategy.
• Run structured workshops (story mapping, impact mapping) to shape the roadmap and release plans

Delivery & execution

• Serve as the connective tissue between customers, Product, Engineering, Design, QA, and Architecture—keeping the backlog sharp and outcomes-focused
• Write great stories: unambiguous requirements, edge cases, data contracts, and measurable acceptance tests
• Drive discovery spikes, clarify dependencies, manage scope trade-offs, and unblock delivery in an agile environment
• Validate what we build: coordinate UAT, define success metrics, and close the loop with post-release learning

Go-to-market & commercialization

• Partner with Sales & Marketing to position features, craft value propositions, and build sales enablement (decks, demos, battlecards, FAQs)
• Contribute to pricing/packaging, competitive briefs, and product launch plans; support RFPs, pilots/POCs, and field feedback loops
• Turn customer conversations into pipeline and learning—capture insights in CRM, refine ICPs and win themes, and inform the next sprint

What success looks like (6–12 months)?

• Clarity:

  PRDs/stories that cut ambiguity and reduce rework; zero “what does this mean?” escalations

• Velocity:

  Healthy backlog hygiene and improved cycle time from discovery to release

• Adoption:

  New features showing clear usage/adoption metrics; POCs converting to paid deals

• Market resonance:

  Sales can pitch it without you in the room; competitive wins citing your enablement

What you’ll bring?

• 4–6 years as a BA/Product Analyst in payments/fintech or complex transactional software
• Proven ability to connect business strategy to shipped product—strong requirements, edge-case thinking, and stakeholder management
• Hands-on with agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), story mapping, backlog management, and acceptance testing
• Comfort with payment concepts (e.g., RTP/RfP, card/ACH/UPI-like flows, ISO 20022, settlement & reconciliation, PCI/PSD2, fraud & risk signals)
• Excellent facilitation and communication—able to align execs, engineers, and customers around a single narrative
• Entrepreneurial bias: you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats in a lean team and care about outcomes, not just outputs

Bonus points

• Experience with payment APIs/integration patterns, webhooks and transaction lifecycle telemetry
• Data-savvy: SQL for self-serve analysis; familiarity with experimentation/metrics (activation, adoption, retention) and dashboarding
• Tooling fluency: JIRA/Linear, Postman, Figma, Miro, Confluence; comfort drafting sequence/state diagrams
• Experience contributing to GTM: pricing/packaging, sales playbooks, competitive analysis, and launch campaigns
