●User & Security Management
● Administer user accounts, including creation, deactivation, and role assignments.
● Manage profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to enforce a robust security model and control data visibility.
● Conduct regular security audits and maintain compliance with data privacy regulations.
● Design, build, and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, and page layouts.
● Develop and implement declarative automation solutions using tools like Flow and
Process Builder.
● Manage and configure Salesforce Lightning components, apps, and home pages.
● Administer and configure AppExchange applications to extend platform functionality.
● Perform routine data maintenance tasks, including data cleansing, deduplication, and mass updates.
● Utilize Salesforce Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and other data management tools to import and export data.
● Document and partner with Architecture on data backup and recovery strategies.
● Ensure data quality and integrity through the implementation of validation rules and data standards.
● Create and maintain complex reports and dashboards to provide business intelligence and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
● Utilize advanced reporting features like Joined Reports and Report Types.
● Train users on how to effectively create and run their own reports to gain insights.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related technical issues and inquiries.
● Investigate and resolve platform errors, data discrepancies, and user-reported issues.
● Manage the support case queue, prioritizing and escalating issues as needed.
● Provide technical and functional training to new and existing users.
● Stay current with new Salesforce releases and features (e.g., Salesforce releases occur three times a year: Winter, Spring, and Summer).
● Test and deploy new features and enhancements in a sandbox environment before production release.
● Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
● Support testing and validating production deployments and coordinating business acceptance testing.
● Effectively work with business stakeholders to capture functional and technical requirements with the understanding of the IT landscape in order to produce software requirement specifications and integration transformation and translation mappings in a variety of formats, including but not limited to: Business Process and/or Data Flow Models, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Requirements traceability matrix and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, as required.
● Collaborate with development teams on complex solutions and integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation platforms).
● Manage API integrations and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
● AI Feature Administration: Administer and optimize native Salesforce AI features, including Einstein Activity Capture, Einstein Forecasting, and Salesforce Einstein Bots. This includes configuring rules, training models, and monitoring performance.
● Generative AI Integration: Work with stakeholders to identify and implement use cases for generative AI within Salesforce, such as creating sales email drafts, generating summaries, or drafting customer service responses.
● Prompt Engineering & Management: Partner with business users to develop and refine effective prompts for generative AI tools to ensure accurate and relevant outputs.
● Ethical AI Governance: Enforce and support policies for the responsible use of AI within Salesforce and generative AI, ensuring data privacy, fairness, and transparency in all Salesforce implementations.
● Staying Current: Stay informed about the latest developments in Salesforce AI products, including new features and best practices for implementing them, and evaluate their potential business value.
● Salesforce Certified Administrator certification is required; advanced certifications such as Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder are highly desirable.
● A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a technical capacity.
● Proven experience with declarative development, including complex Flows.
● Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, and best practices.
● Experience with Salesforce deployment processes and change management.
● Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
● Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge is a plus.
● Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
● Certified Salesforce Administrator/ Service Cloud Consultant with 7 years in a System Admin/Service consultant function, specifically with Salesforce product knowledge and hands-on administration experience with Service and Sales Cloud.
● Experience with integrations to Salesforce cloud
● Experience with Salesforce Service contracts, Subscriptions and entitlements
● Preferably any experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain.
● Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) is required.
● Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (ADM-211) is highly valued.
● Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform Developer) are a plus.
