Salesforce Administrator

Location: Chennai / Kochi

Work Mode: Hybrid

Working Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST (flexibility required to collaborate with US & UK stakeholders)

Certification: Salesforce Administrator Certification (Mandatory)

What Youll Own:

• Salesforce Administration: Maintain and administer salesforce environments including user setup and management, roles, permissions, and profiles
• Customization & Enhancements: Create and manage workflows, custom fields, validation rules, record types, and other enhancements as per business needs
• Salesforce Quality Assurance: Plan, design, and execute test scenarios for new features, enhancements, and integrations
• Testing Lifecycle Ownership: Perform functional testing, regression testing, and UAT to validate end-to-end business workflows within the Salesforce environment
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain test scripts, test cases, and QA documentation aligned with Salesforce changes
• Process Improvement: Identify system gaps, usability issues, and opportunities for automation to improve system quality and user experience
• Reporting & Dashboards: Build and manage reports and dashboards. Ensure data-driven insights and reporting accuracy
• Pipeline Management: Maintain hygiene of the opportunity pipeline, track movement and health of deals, and support sales leadership with pipeline visibility
• Training & Support: Conduct user training sessions, create help documents, and be the first line of support for Salesforce queries
• Data Management and Integrity: Ensure high data quality through regular audits, duplicate management, and field compliance
• Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and change logs for any Salesforce-related processes
• CRM Adoption and Effectiveness: Work closely with Sales to streamline CRM usage and drive adoption. Monitor system performance and perform regular audits to ensure optimal usage and security
• Sales Forecasting & Budgeting: Facilitate sales forecasting and budgeting processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Salesforce Admin certification (mandatory)
• Experience with data migration tools (e.g., Data Loader, Dataloader.io) and reporting tools
• Strong understanding of Sales processes and how CRM supports the sales lifecycle
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning, report builder, custom fields, validation rules, and basic automation.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, actionable data
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills - able to simplify complex CRM talk for end users
• 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce QA/testing experience in addition to Salesforce Administration responsibilities
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and ensure end-to-end testing coverage
• Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies tailored to Salesforce ecosystems, especially in Sales Cloud
• Familiarity using tools like Selenium or any other Salesforce compatible automation tools
• Familiarity with Salesforce-specific challenges, such as Governor Limits and SOQL queries
• Basic knowledge of Apex and Visualforce
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionalities, Lightning Experience, and declarative features
• Proven experience with manual and automated testing in Salesforce environments
