Reporting to the VP of HR in the US, the India HR Leader will drive HR support and talent strategy to align with business objectives for the HR organization for Lyric India.


This role will be Hybrid in our Hyderabad, India office 3x per week.


Job Summary:

  • S/he will develop and execute the P&C strategy in accordance with the Lyric enterprise and India strategy which will support the underlying business plans. The key areas of focus will be workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee experience, leadership development and learning & development to drive business growth.
  • Provide senior level, strategic HR advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, recruitment strategies, and managing change processes, providing risk analysis to support this. Constructively challenge decisions which are not aligned to Company values or the best interest of the Lyric India organization.
  • Role will partner with US HR team to ensure collaboration on Lyric enterprise initiatives

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

  • Developing and delivering a People/ HR strategy that contributes to the achievement of the business objectives and helps the organization make the most of its people.
  • Acting as a strategic and commercial sounding board and advisor to the India Country Head and executives on Lyric India people strategy. S/he will be expected to provide creative and insightful solutions to critical HR issues and advise other members of the India executive team accordingly.
  • In liaison with the India Country Head, take accountability for enhancing the Culture and employee engagement of the local business units.
  • Providing expert input on organization design and development, including advising on and developing methods to cultivate Lyric’s culture in line with its values and to foster inclusivity. Championing the talent agenda, developing an employee value proposition and ensuring that the company is set up to attract, develop and retain the highest-caliber individuals and be responsible for providing a stellar employee experience for employees across functions and career stages.
  • Drive and propagate company culture consistently across all employees / geographies; developing and implementing compensation and benefit plans that are both competitive and efficient; manage executive coaching and leadership training;
  • Owning, reviewing and implementing relevant site HR policies, practices, and legislation while effectively supporting business goals and maintaining a flexible, innovative performance culture.
  • Building strong relationships with leaders and teams within the business globally to enhance overall individual, team & organizational performance; Leading the planning, management and delivery of effective employee communications.
  • In addition to the above, use data and technology to develop strategies for managing and enhancing the global workforce; partner with management to address day-to-day HR operational issues such as employee relations, compensation reviews, escalated benefits issues, performance management, training and potential policy violations; develop and implement methodologies to enhance employee engagement and retention etc.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business, MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in various Human Resources roles with demonstrated HR Business Partner experience and success in a leadership role
  • Previous people management experience

  • Demonstrated success working effectively with senior management to impact and influence decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate and prevent business obstacles and drive necessary change
  • Broad experience in developing and implementing change management initiatives and driving performance
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team environment
  • Ability to negotiate conflict and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels
