Purpose:
As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales organization. You will be responsible for optimizing sales processes, managing data and reporting, supporting CRM systems, and enabling the sales team with tools and insights that enhance performance. This role bridges strategy and execution, ensuring that our sales teams are equipped to meet their goals and deliver exceptional customer value.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive the overall sales operations strategy in alignment with company objectives.
- Own and continuously improve the Lead to Order and Order to Cash processes, including tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Act as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership, contributing to forecasting, planning, and performance analysis.
- Lead the development and maintenance of performance metrics and dashboards to monitor sales effectiveness.
- Ensure data integrity and deliver actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
- Oversee pipeline management and ensure accuracy in sales forecasting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to align initiatives and improve workflows.
- Promote CRM adoption and best practices across the sales organization.
- Maintain governance over pricing, discounting, and deal approval processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Own the documentation and communication of sales policies and procedures.
Key Competencies:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant areas, e.g. sales operations, revenue operations, or business operations
- Proven track record of managing sales processes and systems (Lead to Order, Order to Cash)
- Expertise on CRM platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot), Sales analytics tools (e.g. Power BI) and CPQ tools
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data modeling and forecasting
- Experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Trainings, Business Analytics and Sales Growth activities is a plus
- Passion for building dashboards and performance metrics that drive accountability
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken), German is a plus
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
