Role Overview As a Hiring Manager at CodeNicely, you will own and execute the entire recruitment lifecycle for both technical and non-technical roles. You will be a vital link between candidates, hiring managers, and leadership, ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process. Additionally, you will support campus hiring initiatives, employee engagement programs, and contribute to HR operational tasks, helping build a motivated and high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Manage end-to-end recruitment for multiple positions across technical (developers, QA, product managers) and non-technical roles (marketing, sales, operations). Collaborate with department heads and team leads to gather detailed hiring requirements and create accurate job descriptions. Post job openings on relevant job portals, social media, and networks to attract quality candidates. Screen resumes, conduct initial phone or video interviews, and coordinate technical assessments and final interviews with hiring teams. Ensure timely feedback, candidate communication, and smooth onboarding processes. Campus Hiring & Employer Branding Plan, coordinate, and execute campus hiring drives in collaboration with college TPOs and placement cells. Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges and universities to create a steady pipeline of entry-level talent. Represent CodeNicely at college recruitment events, webinars, and career fairs. Support employer branding initiatives by sharing company culture highlights and employee success stories on social platforms and college outreach. HR Operations & Employee Engagement Maintain and update accurate HR records related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee data. Prepare recruitment reports, hiring metrics, and present insights to management for continuous improvement. Assist in coordinating performance appraisal processes by collecting feedback and tracking timelines. Support employee engagement activities such as team events, wellness initiatives, and recognition programs. Assist with implementation and communication of HR policies, ensuring compliance and clarity across teams. Cross-Functional Coordination Act as a liaison between HR, team leads, and employees to facilitate smooth communication and resolve recruitment-related queries. Support other HR functions as needed, such as payroll coordination, attendance tracking, or documentation. Qualifications & Skills 1 to 2 years of proven experience in HR or recruitment roles, preferably in a tech startup or IT environment. Strong understanding of the full recruitment cycle and best practices for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. Experience handling both technical and non-technical hiring is highly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with candidates and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and hiring pipelines efficiently. Proficiency in using Excel, Google Sheets, job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.), and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for campus drives and recruitment events. Educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields preferred.
