Role Overview

As a Senior Django Developer, you’ll be involved across the full software development lifecycle — from concept and wireframes to backend development and deployment. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to build robust APIs, manage data workflows, and ensure systems run smoothly for thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend systems using

  Django and REST APIs

• Build workflows, models, and views with clean, well-structured code.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend developers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Perform

  database design

  , data modeling, and SQL optimization.
• Write scalable, reusable modules with attention to performance and maintainability.
• Maintain thorough documentation:

  workflow maps, API specs, DB schemas

  , and code comments.
• Debug issues quickly and implement clean fixes.
• Stay updated with

  modern backend frameworks

  , performance tools, and deployment practices.
• Occasionally lead technical decisions and mentor junior developers.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2–5 years

  of hands-on experience in

  backend development

  , preferably using Django.
• Solid understanding of

  OOP, design patterns, algorithms

• Strong command over

  and Django REST Framework.
• Proficiency in
