Senior Django Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Django Developer with a strong foundation in Python and backend development to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time on-site Senior Django Developer role located in Kozhikode. You’ll be responsible for building high-performance, scalable web applications, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to architectural decisions. If you are passionate about clean code, efficient systems, and love exploring modern technologies—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX teams to define product requirements and workflows.
• Write clean, testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Design and optimize database structures
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services
• Guide and mentor junior developers; take ownership of technical decisions and implementation.
• Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and DevOps practices.
• Contribute to UI/UX enhancements with a strong sense of design and responsiveness.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with

  Python

  and the

  Django framework

• Proficient in

  SQL databases

  such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Strong frontend fundamentals:

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  Bootstrap

• Experience with

  AJAX

• Familiarity with

• Comfortable working in a

  Linux/Unix
