Job Description

As Head – Supply Chain Finance, you will be a pivotal link within international supply chain network of the company. Reporting to the Head – Logistics and CFO (both based in Dubai), you will shape financial strategies, drive cost control, and support scalable logistics operations across Africa.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for end-to-end supply chain operations—from inbound shipping (China) to inland logistics, warehousing, and distribution across Africa.
  • Monitor and control all supply chain costs; enhance processes for inventory, foreign exchange, freight, handling, and warehousing.
  • Partner with logistics, procurement, and operations leads to analyze costs, identify savings, and optimize working capital.
  • Structure working capital and trade finance solutions, managing Letter of Credit (LC) facilities, FX exposures, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Deliver financial due diligence for logistics partners; evaluate total landed costs and inform decision-making.
  • Build dashboards and KPIs to track cost performance, supply chain metrics, and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with global tax regulations, transfer pricing rules, and audit requirements in a multinational context.
  • Identify process efficiency through automation (e.g., ERP enhancements) and implement best-practice financial controls and SOPs.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of experience in supply chain finance, preferably within international logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience managing finance for complex global supply chains—covering import operations, freight, warehousing, and last-mile distribution.
  • Strong cost-control mindset with expertise in working capital optimization, FX risk management, and trade finance mechanisms.
  • Excellent analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP/BI tools (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities for working across geographies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to streamline financial processes, automate workflows, and deliver insights.
  • Professional written and verbal communication in English; experience in cross-border virtual team collaboration (India–Dubai–Africa) is advantageous.
