About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Head of Supply to lead end-to-end supply chain functions, ensuring optimal product availability, cost efficiency, and seamless coordination between procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics. This person will play a pivotal role in enabling scale while ensuring agility in operations to support a fast-moving D2C environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
• Forecast demand and create procurement and production plans accordingly.
• Establish scalable processes and systems to support growth.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Identify and manage supplier relationships for raw materials and packaging.
• Ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts and manage SLAs with third-party manufacturers (OEMs).

Manufacturing Oversight

• Liaise with external manufacturing partners to ensure timely and quality production.
• Own the production calendar and capacity planning across SKUs.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Monitor stock levels across warehouses and channels (D2C, marketplaces, etc.).
• Ensure optimal inventory levels to balance availability and working capital.
• Oversee 3PL partners and fulfillment operations.

Logistics & Distribution

• Drive timely delivery of products to customers and partners across geographies.
• Optimize logistics costs, last-mile delivery performance, and TAT.
• Set up SOPs to improve order accuracy, packaging quality, and returns management.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product teams to align supply plans.
• Participate in new product development timelines from a supply lens.

Technology & Automation

• Lead implementation of supply chain tools/ERP for better planning and visibility.
• Identify automation opportunities for greater efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5-6 years of experience in supply chain management in FMCG/D2C sectors.
• Proven experience in managing contract manufacturers and 3PL partners.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort in working with data and forecasting models.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance norms related to skincare/cosmetics.
• A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Experience in scaling supply operations for a high-SKU, omni-channel brand is a plus.
