Head of Supply Chain Management

As a Senior Vice President/President of Supply Chain & Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction, driving transformation, and overseeing the execution of the entire supply chain and procurement function. Your domain expertise, supplier network knowledge, and exceptional leadership capabilities will be essential in achieving operational excellence, cost savings, and supply chain innovation. This position is based in Dholka Ahmedabad. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a world-class supply chain and procurement strategy aligned with the company's business goals. You will lead a team responsible for sourcing, category management, supply planning, logistics, warehousing, and supplier innovation. Additionally, you will drive procurement transformation, establish best-in-class sourcing practices, and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations from demand forecasting to distribution. To ensure operational efficiency and performance management, you will set KPIs for procurement and supply chain operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. You will also focus on leadership and organizational development by building and mentoring a high-performing global supply chain and procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred) with at least 20+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement, including 7-10 years in a senior executive or global leadership role. You should have demonstrated success in leading complex global supply chains, supplier negotiations, and transformation programs, as well as experience with digital supply chain technologies and procurement tools. Preferred background includes global experience in Pharma, managing procurement budgets or complex supplier networks, and exposure to ESG/sustainability and supply chain transparency initiatives.
