As an Associate Consultant - Sourcing Support at Chain IQ India LLP, located in Navi Mumbai, India, you will be part of the Shared Service Centre India department and report to the Sourcing Support Head, APAC. In this role, your primary purpose will be to provide effective sourcing support from India for the US. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proactively fostering effective collaboration and strong communication with key onshore stakeholders to deliver defined activities. - Managing tasks in Ariba on behalf of Senior Consultants. - Scheduling and organizing meetings with internal and external stakeholders. - Performing compliance and risk checks for engaged suppliers. - Assisting in the execution of tactical and strategic sourcing projects. - Drafting NDAs for RFx and preparing sourcing documentation in line with instructions. - Supporting negotiation preparation and obtaining final approvals. - Driving adoption of P2P through sourcing initiatives and contract management. - Ensuring adherence to defined sourcing policies and processes. To be successful in this role, you should have a university degree, ideally in economics or Supply Management, with strong oral and written English skills. You should also have 1-5 years of experience in an international environment, hands-on experience with Ariba or similar e-sourcing tools, and prior experience in sourcing support. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team are essential. Project management experience and expertise in preparing tenders and commodity sourcing support are desired. Additionally, you should be a fast learner, willing to take on new challenges, have a positive mindset, and be a good team player.
