Senior Analyst, IT Services Sourcing

Role Overview: As a Senior Analyst in IT Services Sourcing at News Corp Global Sourcing Organization, your main goal is to unlock value for News Corp and its business units by bringing speed, efficiency, and security to the buying process. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies related to your assigned category. Your role includes executing sourcing and supplier engagement activities, providing guidance on procurement strategies, establishing strong relationships with internal business partners, identifying areas of savings opportunity, executing continuous improvement opportunities, and managing vendor evaluation, negotiation, selection, and qualification. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the category strategy for the assigned category, collaborating with key stakeholders and leaders - Populate category cards detailing strategies, preferred suppliers, and business unit requirements; ensure category health aligns with goals - Conduct sourcing activities such as RFx, spend analysis, contract analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, and supplier consolidation - Develop and customize RFx based on requirements - Provide guidance on procurement strategies and maintain sourcing ethics - Establish strong relationships with internal business partners to understand strategic business direction - Define detailed business requirements, prioritize them, and take them through the approval process - Provide input to Category Performance framework and track metrics related to category performance - Identify savings opportunities based on spend analysis and RFx requirements - Execute continuous improvement opportunities and change management within designated business units - Assist in capacity and demand planning forecasting customer business unit demand - Support evaluation, negotiation, selection, and qualification of vendors - Negotiate contracts with selected suppliers, manage escalations to the legal department, and partner with the contract management team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree or equivalent experience required, MBA is a plus - Minimum 5 years of global sourcing experience - Ability to draft RFx based on requirements - Contract drafting experience with understanding of contractual terms - Minimum 2-3 years of sourcing transformation experience - Certification in Procurement such as CPSM or CSCP preferred - Strong negotiation skills and project management skills - Extensive knowledge of commercial agreement structures and key legal terms - Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization,
