Proposals Manager paintshop

TECHNICAL KNOWTEDGE REQUIRED:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Paint Shop Asst.Manager / Techno-Commercial Lead. The ideal candidate will independently prepare technical & commercial proposals, coordinate with internal & external stakeholders, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and have experience leading a team. Travel may be required as per business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Paint Shop systems from both technical and commercial perspectives.
   
2. Prepare detailed technical proposals & commercial offers (estimates, specifications, costing) independently.
   
3. Engage proactively with suppliers/sub-vendors to collect techno-commercial offers, negotiate terms, ensure supply quality.
   
4. Coordinate with internal teams design, project, purchase, finance — for post-order activities (execution, vendor coordination, change management, costing, payments).
   
5. Lead, mentor, and supervise team members; ensure high productivity, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
   
6. Manage multiple assignments efficiently, prioritizing tasks especially in high-pressure / tight deadline situations.
   
7. Travel as required for site visits, supplier meetings, project reviews, etc.
   

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of paint shop design: coatings, equipment, processes, layout, safety, environment.
  
• Proven experience in preparing technical & commercial proposals in a manufacturing / industrial / paint shop context.
  
• Good negotiation & supplier management skills; ability to obtain and evaluate techno-commercial offers.
  
• Team leadership experience.
  
• Ability to multitask, perform under pressure, meet tight deadlines.
  
• Excellent coordination skills with cross-functional departments (design, projects, purchase, finance).
  

System / IT Skills:

• Hands-on experience with

  MS Office

  (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD 2D

  (drawing, layout, modifications).
• Any other CAD / software used for paint shop design is a plus (e.g. 3D CAD, plant simulation).
