Head of Supply Chain Management

You will be responsible for driving the procurement strategy for Opex, Capex, Admin, IT peripherals, etc. for the company. With a minimum of 12 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in the Telecom Industry, you will collaborate with commodity project teams to develop procurement strategies that secure competitive pricing and contract terms to drive savings and mitigate risk. Your role will involve establishing and monitoring metrics to measure compliance and impact on the business. As a manager, you will supervise a team of 3-4 persons and lead them to achieve set targets. Your primary functions will include measuring and tracking internal cost savings performance, managing general purchase practices, purchase orders, RFQ, and tender documents. You will coordinate with cross-functional departments for their inputs and drive SLA compliance through reviews with Operations Managers. Supporting the SCM Team in procurement, vendor management, insurance management, residual cost management, and special projects will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also lead the commercial assessment of suppliers, identify risks and opportunities, and participate in annual budget preparation and tracking spend & variances on a monthly basis. Your qualifications should include any graduate or postgraduate degree (BE/BSc/MSc/BCom/MCom) with 10 to 12 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Telecom sector. As a preferred candidate, you should have proven experience as a Resource/Production Planner, excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles, and experience in ERP & MRP systems. Proficiency in MS Office and interface with SAP ERP systems, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role. You should also be capable of working effectively in a challenging environment to ensure timely execution and smooth materials movement for projects.,
