About the Role We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Projects to lead the end-to-end execution of Solar Water Pump installations across multiple states. This leadership role involves driving timely commissioning, quality compliance, partner coordination, and on-time claim submissions in line with government guidelines. This individual will play a critical role in building a strong project delivery ecosystem, ensuring quality installations that withstand time and weather, and continuously improving processes to minimize penalties and maximize efficiency for on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Partner Management: Build and manage a reliable network of Field Installation Partners, Installation Partners, and Commissioning Partners with clear agreements, performance monitoring, and training. Project Flow & Execution: Ensure seamless workflows – surveys, procurement, dispatch, installation, inspections, RMS integration, and claims submission – all within strict timelines. Compliance & Documentation: Oversee Order Issuing Authority (OIA) portal uploads, inspections, and penalty waiver processes while ensuring 100% documentation compliance. Quality & Training: Drive training programs for partners and internal teams on installation quality, RMS integration, and farmer education (O&M, insurance, claims). Team Leadership: Lead a state-spanning project team with structured daily/weekly/monthly reviews, adherence to SOPs, and strong accountability frameworks. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government officials, farmers, installation partners, internal customers (Accounts, SCM, Procurement, Back Office etc.) to resolve delays, escalate issues, and ensure approvals. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks, refine SOPs, and implement corrective/preventive measures to ensure smooth project delivery.
