Role Objective: We are looking for a high-performing professional to lead and scale our Solar Open Access and Green Hydrogen solutions for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and IPP segments . The role will drive full-lifecycle project execution, PPA structuring, and business development across India with a base in Noida. Key Responsibilities: 1. Solar Open Access – C&I (Core Focus): Lead pan-India development of Group Captive, Third Party, Merchant, and Hybrid Open Access projects. Identify and close high-value PPAs under RESCO and BOOT models for large industrial clients. Execute end-to-end lifecycle : site assessment, land tie-up, connectivity, regulatory approvals, and synchronization. Work closely with SLDCs, DISCOMs, and state nodal agencies for Open Access permissions and energy banking. Develop and manage a strong pipeline of power consumers, traders, and corporate clients . Design commercial offers and pricing models considering LCOE, tax benefits, and RE certificate monetization. Drive I-REC and sustainability-linked solutions for clients with decarbonization mandates. 2. Green Hydrogen & New Energy (Supportive Role): Support strategic partnerships and project development in Green Hydrogen and derivatives (NH3, CH3OH). Assist in project feasibility, policy evaluation (SECI SIGHT, MNRE), and identification of potential offtakers in refining, steel, and chemical sectors. Coordinate with internal hydrogen and EPC teams to assess commercial alignment. Participate in early-stage hydrogen market development, with opportunities to grow into a full business vertical lead. Strategic Responsibilities: Shape and execute GH2 Solar’s C&I business strategy across solar and emerging clean molecules. Collaborate with the finance team for bid management, investor decks, and risk-reward modeling. Build and lead a cross-functional team of sales, technical, and regulatory specialists. Represent GH2 Solar in industry forums, regulatory consultations , and client meetings. Requirements: 8–15 years of experience in C&I Solar Open Access , RESCO, and Renewable Energy Project Sales/Development. Strong understanding of power trading, net metering, group captive rules, energy banking , and solar hybrid models. Commercial acumen in PPA structuring, pricing models, and state-wise regulatory compliance. Ability to lead end-to-end project execution with cross-functional coordination (land, electrical, legal, EPC). Exposure to sustainability markets (I-REC, carbon credits) will be an added advantage. Hydrogen knowledge is not mandatory , but a learning mindset and interest in new energy markets is expected. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Power); MBA preferred but not mandatory.
