Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager – Green Hydrogen to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of green hydrogen production facilities, including electrolyser installations, balance of plant, and integration with renewable energy sources. The candidate will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, EPC contractors, and government bodies to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion aligned with regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end project management of Green Hydrogen projects (Feasibility to Commissioning). Develop detailed project execution plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with different stakeholders, EPC contractors, and technology licensors (e.g., electrolyser manufacturers – PEM/Alkaline). Risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. Drive approvals – statutory clearances, land acquisition, PESO approvals, grid connectivity, etc. Manage procurement of long-lead items like electrolysers, compressors, storage vessels. Monitor construction progress; control cost and schedule deviations. Prepare project progress reports and present to senior management. Support in techno-commercial negotiations with vendors and consultants. Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover to Operations & Maintenance teams. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Process); MBA/ PMP certification (preferred). Experience: 6–8 years of project management experience in EPC/energy projects. Minimum 2–3 years in Green Hydrogen, Electrolyser Plants, or related sectors (preferred). Familiarity with global and Indian hydrogen policies and safety norms (PESO, PNGRB). Technical Skills: Knowledge of Alkaline/PEM electrolyser systems, hydrogen storage, compression (preferred) Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / Project Management Tools.
