The Head of IT is responsible for leading the organization’s technology function, ensuring reliable, secure, and innovative IT operations that enable business growth. This role oversees IT infrastructure, service delivery, security, and digital transformation, while aligning technology strategy with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement IT roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership on technology adoption, digital innovation, and enterprise architecture.
• Advise senior leadership on emerging technologies and opportunities for competitive advantage.
• Lead IT infrastructure management to ensure system availability, scalability, and performance.
• Oversee helpdesk operations, system administration, and software lifecycle management.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery and user experience.
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect company systems and data.
• Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and internal audit requirements.
• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Oversee IT staffing, training, and performance management to build high-performing teams.
• Make informed decisions on technology investments and system architecture.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level adherence.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
• Report IT performance metrics, risks, and project updates to executive teams and the Board
• Collaborate with business leaders to map, streamline, and automate workflows through ERP.
• Drive process standardization across finance, supply chain, HR, and operations.
• Leverage ERP analytics and reporting to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Define and execute the organization’s ERP roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Ensure ERP and core applications support scalability, compliance, and integration needs.
• Establish governance frameworks for ERP usage, upgrades, and change management.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives that enhance productivity and business outcomes.
• Implement automation, cloud migration, and advanced analytics as part of modernization efforts.
• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the IT function.
• Provide functional and technical support for ERP and business applications.
• Drive user adoption through training programs, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Establish escalation protocols and helpdesk support for ERP-related issues.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Experience: 10–15 years in IT leadership roles with expertise in infrastructure, service delivery, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
• Skills: Strategic planning, IT governance, vendor management, financial acumen, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strong knowledge of emerging technologies.
