Job Purpose To ensure the safety and security of the companys people, property, assets, and brand reputation by effectively supervising security personnel across the manufacturing unit, retail showrooms, and corporate office. The Security Supervisor will monitor security operations, train and guide guards, enforce safety protocols, and report security-related incidents. Key Responsibilities 1. Supervision & Monitoring Oversee daily deployment, attendance, and duty rosters of all security guards at manufacturing units, retail outlets, and office premises. • Conduct regular site inspections and patrols to ensure guards are alert and following post instructions. • Monitor access control, CCTV surveillance, visitor management, and perimeter security at all locations. • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, and take appropriate action. 2. Training & Development Provide induction training for newly appointed security personnel. • Conduct periodic refresher training on vigilance, emergency response, fire safety, and customer handling at retail outlets. • Ensure guards are aware of company security protocols, evacuation procedures, and reporting formats. 3. Incident & Reporting Investigate and document any theft, pilferage, misconduct, trespassing, fire hazards, or safety breaches. • Maintain logs of incidents, visitor entries, night patrolling, and daily security status reports. • Report any security gaps or risks to management with actionable recommendations. 4. Compliance & Coordination Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory security requirements. • Liaise with fire departments, and emergency services as required. • Support HR/Admin during disciplinary actions related to security staff or security breaches. 5. Asset & Risk Management Check and maintain security equipment (CCTV cameras, alarms, fire extinguishers, access control systems). • Verify movement of goods, raw materials, and finished products against gate passes and material movement slips. • Ensure strict compliance with entry/exit protocols for staff, visitors, and vehicles. Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and supervision skills. • Knowledge of industrial and retail security operations. • Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies. • Good communication and reporting skills. • Basic knowledge of CCTV, access control, and fire safety systems. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5–7 years of experience in security operations, preferably in manufacturing/retail environments. • Basic computer skills required.
