We are seeking an Assistant Manager in Deloitte India Accounting Operations team, specializing in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). You will be a key player ensuring smooth and accurate transaction processing and governance. You will lead AR/AP operations for a Business Unit, driving process efficiency, compliance, and control. This role is part of Deloitte South-East Asia CFO’s organization and reports to the Manager – Accounting Operations

t:· Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expense processing, ensuring accuracy and timelines

s.· Monitor invoice processing, payments, collections, and vendor reconciliation

s.· Manage aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables and payables to ensure optimal working capita

l.Process Compliance & Contro

l:· Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirement

s.· Perform regular audits and validations of AR/AP transactions and documentatio

n.· Identify and mitigate risks related to payment fraud, errors, or compliance breache

s.Reconciliation & Reportin

g:· Conduct detailed reconciliations of AR/AP ledgers, resolving discrepancies promptl

y.· Prepare and deliver monthly operational reports, highlighting key metrics and anomalie

s.· Support month-end close activities related to AR/AP balances and reportin

g.Process Improvement & Automatio

n:· Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance efficienc

y.· Collaborate with technology teams to implement system upgrades and improvement

s.· Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data trends and stakeholder feedbac

k.Collaboration & Stakeholder Managemen

t:· Act as a primary contact for AR/AP/ expense issues within the Business Unit and coordinate with global and cross-functional team

· Work closely with Finance, Treasury, Procurement, and external vendors to resolve operational challeng

es.· Support audits and compliance reviews by providing required documentation and insigh

ve:· 6+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/Employee Travel & Expense operations, preferably in professional services, consulting, or technology secto

rs.· Strong knowledge of AR/AP processes, Travel policies, internal controls, and statutory complian

ce.· Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably S

AP.· Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and data analys
