2.1 Strategic Direction & Business Leadership
Develop, refine and communicate the vision, mission, values, and long-term strategic goals of Aarya Precast.
Prepare and drive 3–5 year strategic plans covering revenue targets, capacity expansion, product mix, market segments (architects, builders, interior designers, landscapers, corporate clients, retail, online), and geographic expansion.
Translate strategy into annual business plans and departmental targets, and ensure each HOD understands and owns their part.
2.2 Overall P&L, Financial & Cash Flow Management
Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the company and ensure the business meets or exceeds agreed financial targets.
Approve annual budgets for all departments and monitor monthly performance against budget (revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, capex, inventory).
Ensure healthy cash flow by monitoring debtor days, payment terms, credit limits, and working capital cycles; intervene where collections or cash flow are stressed.
Review and approve all major financial commitments – high-value purchases, capex for new moulds, machinery, vehicles, and large marketing spends.
2.3 Sales, Marketing & Business Development
Provide strategic direction to Sales & Marketing for all product categories: façades, furniture, landscapes, gifting items, lamps, and infrastructure elements.
Approve annual sales plans by region, product, and customer segment; review monthly performance and drive corrective actions where targets are missed.
Personally build and maintain relationships with key customers and influencers – leading architects, interior designers, landscaping consultants, builders, PMC firms, government bodies, and corporate clients.
Guide development of brand positioning, catalogues, digital presence, exhibitions, and showroom concepts to showcase Aarya Precast’s design capability.
Support the Sales team in closing strategic or high-value deals, negotiating commercial terms, and finalizing long-term supply or framework agreements.
2.4 Operations, Projects & Supply Chain Management
Ensure smooth, cost-effective and quality-focused operations across the plant and sites, including:
o Mould making and maintenance
o Precast production, curing, finishing and painting
o Storage, packing and dispatch
o Site installation and erection for infrastructure and façade projects
Review and approve production capacity plans, shift patterns, outsourcing plans, and subcontracting decisions to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure robust coordination between Design, Production, Purchase, Stores, Projects and Logistics so that customer deadlines are met without last-minute firefighting.
Monitor key operational KPIs such as OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery, production yield, rejection rates, rework, wastage of concrete and steel, and machine downtime.
Oversee the supply chain for cement, aggregates, steel, colour oxides, mould materials, electrical fittings, etc., to ensure stable supply at optimum cost.
2.5 Design, Product Development & Innovation
Provide strategic guidance to the Design/Development team for new product ranges in façades, furniture, landscaping, gifting products, lamps, and urban infrastructure.
Approve design concepts, prototypes, and catalog launches, ensuring they match market expectations on aesthetics, durability and price.
Encourage collaboration between Design, Marketing and Production to ensure all designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and installation-friendly.
Stay informed about global design trends in precast, architecture, urban furniture and gifting articles and drive continuous innovation.
2.6 People Leadership, HR & Culture
Build and maintain a high-performance leadership team, including HODs for key functions (Sales, Operations, Projects, Design, Finance, HR, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance).
Approve organisation structure, manpower plans, key appointments, promotions, and succession plans for critical positions.
Foster a performance-driven, ethical, and collaborative culture, where employees feel respected, safe, and motivated.
Ensure robust HR systems are in place: recruitment, induction, training, performance appraisals, incentive schemes, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
Promote continuous learning & development, especially in technical skills, project management, design software, safety, and customer service.
2.7 Governance, Compliance, Safety & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, statutory and regulatory requirements, including factory laws, labour laws, environment norms, municipal permissions, and other local regulations.
Provide leadership for EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) at plant and sites; ensure safety culture, PPE usage, toolbox talks, and incident reporting are rigorously followed.
Identify key business risks (market, operational, financial, compliance, reputation) and ensure mitigation plans are in place and monitored.
Ensure that contracts with clients, vendors and subcontractors safeguard the company’s legal and commercial interests.
2.8 Systems, SOPs & Continuous Improvement
Ensure implementation and continual improvement of systems and SOPs across departments (production, dispatch, quality, purchase, HR, sales, finance).
Drive the adoption of digital tools – ERP, CRM, project tracking, inventory systems, dashboards – to improve transparency and decision-making.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to reduce wastage, shorten lead times, improve quality, and enhance customer experience.
Review major customer complaints, NCRs, and recurring issues, and ensure permanent preventive actions are implemented.
2.9 Reviews, Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Conduct regular review meetings with HODs (daily/weekly/ monthly) to track progress on KPIs, key projects, major risks, and improvement actions.
Present monthly and quarterly business performance reports to the Directors, including financials, sales pipeline, major wins/losses, operational performance, and strategic initiatives.
Represent Aarya Precast in external forums, industry associations, government interactions, bank meetings, and investor/stakeholder discussions as required.
Act as the final escalation point for critical issues that cannot be resolved at departmental level.
