As the Business Head, you will own ULIO’s business outcomes: revenue, distribution, partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and team performance. You will work closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Counseling teams to drive adoption and retention across B2C, B2B (schools), and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Growth: Build and execute annual/quarterly business plans; define and grow revenue streams (subscriptions, add-ons, partnerships, listings, events); identify new markets and monetization opportunities.
Revenue & Sales Leadership: Own revenue targets; build B2C/B2B funnels (Lead → Demo → Trial → Paid); drive pricing, packaging, commissions, and incentive structures; manage forecasting and monthly run-rate.
Partnerships & Alliances: Develop and manage partnerships with schools, counselors, universities, test-prep providers, and vendors; negotiate MoUs and commercials; ensure partner success and retention.
Marketing & GTM Alignment: Align positioning, campaigns, community, and events with qualified leads and revenue outcomes (not vanity metrics).
Product & Tech Collaboration: Represent business needs in product decisions; translate customer feedback into priorities; ensure features have clear revenue/retention impact and adoption tracking.
Team & Operations Leadership: Build and lead sales/partnerships/business ops teams; set OKRs; drive execution cadence and process efficiency.
Reporting & Founder Alignment: Own weekly/monthly dashboards; track unit economics and ROI; flag risks early and propose solutions.
Requirements (Brief)
• 8–15 years experience in edtech, SaaS, platforms, or education services
• Proven experience owning P&L or revenue targets
• Strong background in B2B + B2C business models
• Experience working closely with product and tech teams
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
• Comfortable in fast-growing, ambiguous startup environments
