Job Description

We are a rapidly growing AI-First IT Services Engineering company seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Talent Acquisition Lead . As a startup with a lean team, this role requires an individual who is not only a strategic thinker but also enthusiastic about personally executing the full spectrum of recruitment activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end technical recruitment across various software technologies , be deeply comfortable with the demands of an AI-driven engineering environment and be ready to roll up their sleeves and actively source, screen, and manage candidates from start to finish, while also building our recruitment foundation. Responsibilities End-to-End Hands-On Recruitment: Personally manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for all IT roles, with a strong focus on software engineering and AI/ML positions , from job requisition creation to offer negotiation and onboarding support. This includes active sourcing, technical screening, interviewing, and candidate management. Strategic Technical Sourcing & Networking: Proactively identify and engage top-tier software engineers, AI/ML specialists, data scientists, and other technical professionals through diverse channels, including specialized job boards, tech communities, social networks, professional referrals, and direct outreach. You will be expected to conduct the majority of technical sourcing yourself. Technical Screening & Assessment: Conduct thorough initial interviews and technical assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, coding skills, technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, cultural fit, and alignment with our startup's values and technical stack. Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner directly with engineering leads and technical hiring managers to deeply understand specific hiring needs for complex technical roles, provide market insights, and ensure alignment on candidate profiles and recruitment strategies. Recruitment Reporting: Track and report on key recruitment metrics to provide clear insights into pipeline status and hiring progress for technical roles to the leadership team. Process Ownership & Optimization: Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our technical recruitment process, actively using and optimizing ATS tools (Zoho) and other recruitment technologies to enhance candidate experience and streamline workflows. Technical Market Intelligence: Stay deeply updated on industry trends, compensation benchmarks for technical roles, emerging software technologies, and AI/ML advancements, directly applying this knowledge to optimize technical sourcing and hiring strategies. Team Support (Future): As we grow, you will lay the groundwork for and potentially mentor future TA team members, but initially, this role is primarily execution focused. Requirements Requirements Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in technical recruitment, specifically within software development, AI/ML, or related IT services engineering domains , demonstrating a consistent record of successfully closing complex technical roles personally. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; a technical background or strong understanding of computer science fundamentals is a significant plus. Deep Technical Domain Expertise: Practical understanding of various software roles (e.g., Full Stack, Backend, Frontend, DevOps, QA), programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript), cloud platforms, AI/ML concepts, and modern software development lifecycles. AI-First Environment Comfort: Demonstrated comfort and experience recruiting for companies focused on AI, machine learning, and advanced IT services engineering. Hands-On Execution: A strong willingness and proven capability to perform all aspects of recruitment from technical sourcing to offer negotiation. This is not a purely managerial or advisory role. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with technical candidates and internal stakeholders. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing technical recruitment needs in a fast-paced environment. Negotiation & Persuasion: Highly skilled in negotiation and persuasion, with a track record of personally closing critical technical hires. ATS Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems, including Zoho, for comprehensive recruitment management. Advanced Technical Sourcing Expertise: Advanced proficiency in using various technical sourcing techniques, including Boolean search strings, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other specialized tech platforms, with a clear understanding of how to personally execute these searches. Results-Oriented: Proactive, self-motivated, and highly results-driven, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting and exceeding technical recruitment goals independently.
