We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager to lead our Network Security team. This role is responsible for overseeing the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of our network security infrastructure, with a strong focus on Check Point and Palo Alto Networks firewalls. The Senior Manager will lead a team of network security engineers, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network resources. This position requires deep technical expertise in network security, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex security projects. About the Role The Senior Manager will lead our Network Security team, overseeing the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of our network security infrastructure. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network security engineers that are geographically dispersed throughout the world. Conduct performance reviews, provide training opportunities, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Firewall Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Check Point and Palo Alto Networks firewalls across the global enterprise network. This includes rule base management, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting complex firewall issues. Security Architecture & Design: Contribute to the design and implementation of secure network architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and security standards. Security Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats. Vulnerability Management: Collaborate with the Global Security Office to identify and remediate network security vulnerabilities. Implement security patches and updates promptly. Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities related to network security incidents. Conduct post-incident analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Security Monitoring & Analysis: Oversee the monitoring of network security devices and logs, utilizing Splunk and other security tools. Analyze security events and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key security vendors, including Check Point and Palo Alto Networks. Evaluate new security technologies and solutions. Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards. Support internal and external security audits. Budget Management: Manage the budget for the network security team and related projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in network security, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role. Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of Check Point firewalls, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and common attack vectors. Experience with other security technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and network access control (NAC). Experience with setting up and configuring remote access for users. Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, PCNSE, or Check Point certifications, are highly desirable. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud security technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Show more Show less
