Senior Network Specialist

As a Senior Network Specialist at our company, your primary responsibility will be to design, plan, and drive large-scale WAN/SDWAN/LAN/WLAN projects end-to-end. You will be translating architecture into execution steps and leading engineering squads through all project phases including design, implementation, migration, golive, and maintenance. Your expertise will be crucial in selecting, deploying, and optimizing network technologies such as Cisco, Versa, and Aruba+ to ensure they align with our business goals. Additionally, you will act as the subject matter expert during operational incidents, leading troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and recovery. Your role will also involve engaging with cross-functional, global stakeholders to communicate design intent, status, and technical guidance effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design, plan, and drive large-scale WAN/SDWAN/LAN/WLAN projects end-to-end - Lead and support engineering squads through all project phases - Select, deploy, and optimize network technologies to align with business goals - Act as SME during operational incidents for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and recovery - Engage with cross-functional, global stakeholders to communicate design intent, status, and technical guidance Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience in enterprise network design/delivery with 5+ years in software-defined & cloud networking - Bachelors/Diploma in Engineering/CS/IT - Mandatory: CCNP certification; Preferred: CCIE, Versa SDWAN Specialist certification In terms of technical proficiency, you should be an expert in WAN, SDWAN (Cisco & Versa), LAN, and WLAN. You should have mastery in TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, IPsec, QoS, GRE, network virtualization, NFV, SASE, Umbrella, and Versa Secure Access. Additionally, cloud networking know-how including Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, multicloud via Equinix/Megaport is essential. Familiarity with DNS/DHCP/IPAM, WAF/CDN/DDOS tools like Infoblox, Zscaler, Akamai is a plus. Furthermore, proficiency in tools and automation is required. You should be hands-on with monitoring and management tools such as Spectrum, SevOne, ThousandEyes, CyberArk, and MS Entra. Scripting in Python would be an added advantage. Your leadership and soft skills will play a crucial role in this position. As a proven leader in global projects, you should be capable of managing large, distributed teams.
