About the Role The role involves monthly salary processing for all employees, ensuring compliance with income tax rules in India, and managing payroll reporting and settlements. Responsibilities Monthly Salary Processing for all Employees Extensive knowledge of the income tax rules of India related to salary Knowledge of statutory compliances i.e., Income Tax / PF / ESIC / PT / BONUS / GRATUITY and others Able to handle Payroll reporting Ensure a smooth process of Full and Final settlement Proficiency in MS Excel Knowledge of accountancy and reporting, with skills to do payroll-related journal entries Results-oriented and self-driven Effective communication and analytical skills Effective planning and adherence to the strict timelines Qualifications B.Com with 5+ years of experience Basic knowledge of accounting MBA Finance (Preference) Required Skills Strong Communication Skills (English essential, other languages an advantage) Strong Financial analysis skills are desirable Strong written skills (English essential) Strong attention to detail Ability to motivate and lead teams Preferred Skills Pro-active support to the business is a key attribute for this role, with a customer service focus to link both systems requirements with business outcomes.
