Job Duties and Qualifications Job Role: The Project Manager (PM) plays a critical role in overseeing and delivering digital transformation initiatives within the Oil Gas industry. As a consultant, the PM leads projects on behalf of clients, ensuring the successful execution of technology-driven solutions that optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and drive business value.This role requires expertise in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration, with a strong focus on aligning digital projects with industry best practices and client objectives. Key Focus Areas: Project Execution: Manage the end-to-end delivery of Oil Gas digital transformation projects. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors to align project goals. Risk Issue Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure smooth execution. Budget Resource Allocation: Oversee project budgets, resource planning, and financial performance. Process Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance project efficiency. Compliance Governance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company project management standards. Job Responsibilities: Lead Oil Gas digital transformation projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and data scientists. Develop project roadmaps, schedules, and execution plans in alignment with client objectives. Implement Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies to enhance project flexibility and efficiency. Track project KPIs and performance metrics to ensure successful project outcomes. Identify and escalate project risks, working with teams to develop mitigation strategies. Facilitate project governance, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Qualifications Experience: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. MBA preferred. 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in Oil Gas digital projects. Experience in consulting roles, delivering services to external clients within the Energy sector. Strong knowledge of AI, cloud solutions, IoT, and data analytics for Oil Gas applications. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification required. Agile Scrum certification preferred. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and digital process optimization is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Role-Specific Knowledge: Expertise in managing end-to-end technology projects for Oil Gas clients. Strong background in digital transformation, automation, and enterprise solutions. Ability to analyze complex business challenges and translate them into technology-driven solutions. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working with C-suite executives.
