The Opportunity: Architect of National Growth

We are seeking a visionary National Sales Head to be the chief architect of our national sales strategy. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving exponential revenue growth, owning the national sales P&L, and leading our multi-regional sales organization. We need a proven executive who has scaled high-performance B2B sales teams in the industrial, automotive, or packaging sectors and can forge C-level relationships with India's largest clients.


Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership:

    Develop and execute the national sales strategy, taking full ownership of sales targets, margin performance, and budgeting. Report directly to the Director on performance and market intelligence.
  • Team & Culture Building:

    Lead, mentor, and scale our geographically-dispersed sales force. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • C-Level Acquisition & Negotiation:

    Personally cultivate executive-level relationships and lead high-stakes negotiations for complex, multi-million-dollar contracts.
  • Market Strategy:

    Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify and exploit new product opportunities and market-entry strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Serve as the key link between sales, operations, logistics, and R&D to ensure our solutions and execution are perfectly aligned with market demands.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    10+ years of progressive sales leadership, with 5-7 years in a senior role (e.g., Regional/Zonal/National Head) in B2B sales for

    industrial manufacturing, specialty chemicals, advanced packaging, or automotive components.

  • Verifiable Track Record:

    Demonstrable proof of architecting strategies that delivered consistent, double-digit, year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Proven Leadership:

    Documented experience in recruiting, scaling, and managing high-performance, geographically-dispersed sales teams.
  • Financial & Analytical Acumen:

    Expert-level ability in sales forecasting, budgeting, P&L management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s in Engineering/Business or related.

    MBA highly preferred.

  • Attributes:

    Unwavering drive, executive presence, high-level strategic thinking, and outstanding communication/boardroom presentation skills.
  • Mobility:

    Willingness to travel moderately (approx. 50-60%) across the northern part of India.
