Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant – Finance & Compliance Lead, based in Gurgaon. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial statements, financial reporting, and utilizing accounting software for various financial tasks. The role requires strong analytical skills to evaluate and optimize financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the financial objectives of the company.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
• Record all financial transactions promptly and correctly.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and receivables monthly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor company-wide expenses and ensure proper categorization and budget alignment.
• Process payments, reimbursements, and track petty cash.
• Flag unusual or excessive spending with proactive insights.

• Create and manage budgets in collaboration with department heads.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Help with cost-cutting strategies and cash flow optimization.

• Handle GST filings, TDS deductions, and returns.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government bodies as needed.
• File income tax returns and support any scrutiny or assessments.

• Establish robust financial controls and suggest process improvements.
• Prepare for and assist in both internal and external audits.
• Ensure all financial documentation is properly archived and accessible.

• Prepare MIS reports for management—P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.
• Perform financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop financial models for new initiatives or funding rounds.

• Work with HR for payroll and compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
• Coordinate with legal, operations, and external vendors for contract and payment management.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements
• Hands-on with accounting software
• Proficient in Excel, MIS tools, and reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
