Role & Responsibilities · Experienced in large scale Production Support Server Environment · Handling Data Center Operations with Business & Mission Critical applications · Handling escalated incidents or high critical tickets · Predicting Risk/Impact and Participating in Major Changes · Reporting & Performance Dashboards with Capacity Planning · Technical Team (5-10 members) & Vendor Management · Technical Transition & Documentation skills (Onsite to Offshore) · Migration and upgradation of existing infrastructure

Top-Up) · Performing in-depth analysis of system behavior, utilizing debugging tools, and implementing advanced troubleshooting techniques · Monitoring system health, identifying potential issues before impact operations, and implementing preventative measures · Advance knowledge of network protocols, VLANs, and network segmentation within a Nutanix environment · Installation, configuration, expanding and supporting of PRISM Element (PE) & PRISM Central (PC) · Setting up and troubleshooting storage policies and data protection mechanisms like snapshots and replication. · Analyzing capacity planning needs and proactively scaling infrastructure as required · Implementing security best practices within the Nutanix environment, including access controls and data encryption · Managing security policies and configurations related to network segmentation and firewall rules · Designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies using Nutanix features like replication and failover. · Managing data backups and ensuring data integrity across the Nutanix cluster. · In-depth knowledge of Nutanix platform architecture, including AHV hypervisor, distributed storage, and networking components. · Expertise in Nutanix Prism management console and its feature · Enabling, updating, removing features Compression (inline, offline), Deduplication (Cache, Capacity), Erasure Coding (EC), Global & Storage container level filesystem white-listing. · Executing VM update option. Hot adding vDisk, vNIC, hot extending vDisk, hot removing vDisk, vNIC. · Working and troubleshooting of Data Protection, registering remote site, creating protection domain (PD) policy, adding entity to policy, defining schedule for PD. Migration & activation of PD. · Working and troubleshooting of CVM failures. · Working and troubleshooting of Node/Block failures. · Execution of acli command line for powering on multiple VMs, shutting down multiple VMs, creating network (port group). · Execution of ncli command line for creating storage container, updating time zone for cluster. · Updating network configuration i.e. removing NICs from bridge, creating bridge, adding NICs to new bridge. · Working and troubleshooting of Flow, creating categories, assigning categories to VMs, creating environment isolation flow policies, creating policy for securing app. · Creating reports & scheduling it in PC. · Working and troubleshooting of Hypervisor/AOS/Prism Central upgrade. · Working and troubleshooting of Licensing cluster. · Working of Creating case on portal.nutanix.com. · Knowledge on any of monitoring tools like Splunk / Logic Monitor · Nutanix Certified Associate / Professional · PowerShell/PowerCLI Scripting · Knowledge on UCS Blade Infrastructure (advantage) · Knowledge on UCS Hardware (advantage) · Knowledge on VMware · Knowledge on server administration

· Installing, configuring, and managing OpenShift clusters across different environments. · Performing upgrades, patching, and version control for OpenShift clusters. · Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery strategies are implemented and maintained. · Managing cluster scaling and resource allocation · Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to OpenShift deployments, networking, storage, and application lifecycle management. · Investigating performance bottlenecks and optimizing cluster performance · Designing and implementing optimal OpenShift cluster architectures based on application requirements and scalability needs. · Selecting appropriate infrastructure components like storage, networking, and load balancers. · Implementing security best practices for OpenShift clusters, including role-based access control and network segmentation. · Auditing and monitoring for potential security vulnerabilities · Setting up comprehensive monitoring systems to track cluster health, application performance, and potential issues. · Managing the connections between the UCS fabric and external networks through dedicated uplinks on the Fabric Interconnects · Managing the unified network fabric, including routing traffic between servers and external networks, handling all I/O connections, and ensuring high availability through active-active redundancy with a pair of Fis · Responsible for managing server profiles, assigning them to physical servers, and defining their network and storage configurations. · Upgrading the Cisco FI firmware and update profile templates · Adding new Chassis in Cisco UCS · Managing network settings within the UCS domain, including VLANs, port profiles, and network adapters · Monitors system health, performs troubleshooting, and manages system alerts · Responsibility over the UCS system, including creating and managing server profiles, network configurations, storage policies, and user access level
