Job Description

We are a manufacturing and exporting Company of repute having turnover of Rs. 100 Crs.+ situated in Khandwa Road, Indore is looking for a Finance & Accounts Head who will oversee the finance, accounting and compliances of the Company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance & accounts, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach and analysis.


Job Description:

  • Accounts: Drive the team for financial and accounting data capturing and book-keeping. Timely preparation and filing of the various returns viz. GST, TDS and Income Tax and various other statutory compliances.
  • MIS: Prepare the monthly financial reports / statements of the Company, reporting them to the HOD with analysis and relevant inputs for submission to the Management.
  • Asset Management and physical stock reconciliation: Drive the team and maintaining updated records for the same.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and drive monthly & annual budget & forecasting, do the variance analysis and with plan of action take corrective steps.
  • Cash Flow: Managing Payments and recoveries, day to day authorizing vendor payments basis the business exigencies. Tracking and driving recoveries by tracking cash flows and coordination with the Business Development team.
  • Documentations: Adherence to the SOP's, oversee and manage processes and controls for driving the basic hygiene, accuracy and timely upkeep the necessary records and ensuring availability in an organized manner as per statutory norms and requirements.
  • Exports and Banking: Adherence to the EPC availment, documentation and banking of export transaction and make risk benefit analysis and strategy on Forex transactions.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance. Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Costing: Guiding to improve production, procurement and delivery efficiency by cost analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; and professional accounting qualification (CA / CMA).
  • Experience of 12-15 years in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory standards.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing and exporting Companies on accounting, finance, budgeting, MIS and financial analysis.
