Finance and Accounts Head

The Finance and Accounts Head is responsible for managing the company s financial health, overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations and contributes to strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning Analysis

   :
   • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
   • Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
   • Monitor cash flow and advise on financial strategies to maintain liquidity.

2. Accounting Operations

   :
   • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
   • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
   • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

3. Reporting Compliance

   :
   • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance practices.
   • Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders (e.g., CEO, CFO, board members).
   • Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax consultants.

4. Risk Management Internal Controls

   :
   • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, operational, and market risks.
   • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

5. Team Leadership Management

   :
   • Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.
   • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to ensure professional growth and development.
   • Set performance objectives, monitor team performance, and implement improvements as needed.

6. Strategic Decision Support

   :
   • Work closely with senior management to align financial strategy with business objectives.
   • Provide insights and recommendations for investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial growth strategies.
   • Assist in merger and acquisition (MA) activities, due diligence, and post-merger integration.

7. Cash Flow Management

• • Manage liquidity and optimize the capital structure.
  • Oversee short-term and long-term investment strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master s or CPA preferred).
• Minimum of

  10-15 years of experience

  in financial management, with at least

  7 9 years in a senior leadership role

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
