Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage our financial
operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
accounting principles, e-commerce financial management, and inventory accounting for specialty
products. This role is crucial for maintaining financial transparency and supporting our continued
growth in the global spiritual wellness market.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash
Flow statements
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and statutory requirements
Prepare financial reports for management review and strategic decision-making
Handle GST returns, TDS computations, and other statutory compliance requirements
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits
E-commerce Financial Management
Manage multi-channel revenue recognition across website, marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart,
etc.)
Handle payment gateway reconciliations and settlement tracking
Process refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes efficiently
Monitor and reconcile online payment platforms and digital wallets
Track shipping costs, marketplace commissions, and advertising expenses
Analyze e-commerce profitability by channel and product category
Inventory & Product Costing
Maintain accurate inventory records for diverse Rudraksha products (1-21 Mukhi varieties)
Implement and monitor inventory valuation methods for specialty spiritual products
Track product costs including procurement, testing, certification, and logistics
Manage stock movements, transfers, and write-offs
Coordinate with procurement team for vendor payments and purchase accounting
Monitor inventory turnover and aging analysis
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
Process vendor invoices and manage payment schedules
Maintain vendor master data and payment terms
Handle international payments for Nepal-based Rudraksha suppliers
Manage expense approvals and reimbursement processes
Negotiate payment terms with suppliers and service providers
Ensure proper documentation for all expenditure transactions
Accounts Receivable & Customer Management
Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding receivables
Handle B2B customer credit management and payment terms
Process customer refunds and credit notes efficiently
Manage international customer transactions and currency conversions
Maintain customer master data and credit limits
Generate customer statements and aging reports
Banking & Cash Flow Management
Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
Manage foreign exchange transactions and currency hedging
Handle letter of credit and trade finance operations for imports
Coordinate with banks for loan documentation and compliance
Manage fixed deposits and investment accounting
Financial Analysis & Business Support
Prepare financial analysis reports for management review
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Analyze cost structures and profitability by product lines
Monitor key financial metrics and variance analysis
Support pricing decisions with cost analysis
Provide financial insights for business expansion plans
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with RBI regulations for international transactions
Maintain proper documentation for import/export transactions
Handle FEMA compliance for foreign exchange transactions
Manage PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions
Coordinate with company secretary for board meeting financials
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Required Qualifications
Education & Professional Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
CA (Chartered Accountant) or CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) preferred
ACCA or other international accounting certification is a plus
5-7 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
Minimum 2 years experience in e-commerce or retail industry
Technical Skills
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
Experience with e-commerce platforms and marketplace accounting
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws
Familiarity with international trade documentation and procedures
Understanding of inventory management systems
Core Competencies
Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and GAAP
Experience with multi-currency transactions and forex management
Knowledge of e-commerce business models and revenue recognition
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Understanding of lab testing and certification cost accounting
Experience with financial audits and compliance procedures

Working Conditions
Full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra
Standard business hours with flexibility during month-end closing
Occasional overtime during audit periods and financial year-end
