We are currently launching multiple e-commerce software products, which will be listed on the Shopify App Store, while also supporting customers with implementation and consulting services where required.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Business Development Executive to drive early-stage revenue for our software products and support solution-led sales in the ecommerce ecosystem.This is a foundational, individual contributor role, working closely with the Founder to shape go-to-market strategy, outbound sales, and early customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end sales execution for U.Labs’ SaaS and ecommerce products
  • Drive outbound prospecting via:
    • Email Drips
    • LinkedIn
    • Targeted campaigns
    • Community Interactions
    • Network tap-ins
  • Identify, engage, and close:
    • D2C brands
    • Ecommerce businesses
    • Retail and digital commerce clients
  • Create and deliver:
    • Sales pitch decks
    • Product demos
    • Proposals and commercials
  • Work on end-to-end revenue generation and own the entire outbound BD pipeline for software products, including supporting consulting or implementation engagements that form part of the overall solution
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Product teams (feedback & positioning)
    • Marketing teams (messaging & GTM support)
  • Track and report sales metrics:
    • Leads
    • Pipeline
    • Conversions
    • Revenue

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in:
    • Tech sales / SaaS sales / Ecommerce tech sales
  • Exposure to:
    • Ecommerce platforms
    • Retail-tech or SaaS ecosystems
    • Shopify ecosystem
  • Strong communication skills and logical thinking
  • Comfortable selling:
    • Early-stage products
    • Evolving value propositions
  • Experience with:
    • Outbound prospecting
    • Lead Nurturing
    • Deal closures
    • Pitch decks
    • Proposal creation
    • Email drip campaign setup
    • Networking Events
    • Candidates with AI product sales exposure are welcome
    • Experience across product + services sales is a plus
