Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist


Key Responsibilities:


End-to-End Recruitment:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a wide range of roles (technical, product, business) from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Own job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation and pre-onboarding steps.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner closely with founders, hiring managers and team leads to define hiring needs and create effective recruiting strategies.
  • Advise on market trends, compensation benchmarking and candidate experience best practices.

Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development:

  • Proactively source high-quality candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, employee referrals, events and communities.
  • Maintain strong talent pipelines across key business functions.

Candidate Experience:

  • Ensure a high-touch, seamless candidate experience with clear communication, timely updates and professionalism at every stage of the process.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay on top of talent trends, industry benchmarks and innovations in sourcing, especially within the AI and research-tech space.
  • Provide insights to hiring teams to improve decision-making.

Employer Branding:

  • Help build Metaforms employer brand through social media, events, job boards and talent marketing campaigns.
  • Drive engagement across candidate touchpoints with authenticity and clarity.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track key recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source efficiency, funnel conversion, etc.) to measure performance and improve processes.


Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally in startups, tech companies or fast-growth environments.
  • Strong grasp of hiring for technical roles (Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, DevOps, Software Development, Product) and knowledge of tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple open roles and hiring priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Familiarity with ATS (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, or equivalent) and CRM platforms.

  • Experience hiring in emerging tech fields like AI/ML, data science, or research automation.
  • Exposure to employer branding, DEI initiatives, or campus outreach strategies.
  • Passion for technology, startups, and team-building at scale.
