The Project Management Officer (PMO) plays a crucial role in providing support services to Engagement Managers in governing engagements effectively. They are responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting progress on engagements, managing issues and risks, controlling changes, overseeing deliverables and quality, tracking obligations, ensuring adherence to contractual and commercial constraints, managing finances, and maintaining electronic records of activities. A PMO Lead is an exceptional professional known for their expertise in PMO practices. They possess deep knowledge of effective strategies, tools, and techniques in project management.
