About the Role


HR Manager


Key Responsibilities


1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning


  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviews, salary negotiations, and offer rollouts. 
  • Build and manage talent pipelines for current and future requirements. 
  • Coordinate with leadership to forecast manpower needs and create workforce plans. 


2. Onboarding & Induction


  • Design and execute structured onboarding programs for new hires. 
  • Ensure timely completion of joining formalities, documentation, and background checks. 
  • Conduct orientation sessions to integrate employees into the organizational culture. 


3. HR Operations & Policy Management


  • Draft, review, and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance documents. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records (digital & physical) including contracts, NDAs, and addendums. 
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments, labor laws, etc.). 
  • Manage HR audits, MIS reports, and HR analytics for leadership review. 


4. Payroll & Benefits Administration


  • Coordinate payroll processing, salary disbursement, and variable pay calculations. 
  • Administer employee benefits (health insurance, leave, reimbursements, etc.). 
  • Handle employee queries regarding compensation and benefits. 


5. Performance Management & Career Development


  • Design and implement performance management systems (KPI/OKR setting, appraisals, reviews). 
  • Support managers in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback. 
  • Identify training needs, create L&D plans, and coordinate training programs. 


6. Employee Engagement & Culture Building


  • Plan and drive employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and events. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employee grievances, ensuring confidentiality and fair resolution. 
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization. 


7. Employee Relations & Retention


  • Develop and maintain a positive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction. 
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and recommend retention strategies. 
  • Mediate conflicts and provide guidance to resolve interpersonal or workplace issues. 


8. Leadership & Strategic Partnership


  • Work closely with leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives. 
  • Provide insights on workforce trends, employee morale, and productivity improvement. 
  • Partner with department heads to ensure HR support for business units. 


9. HR Technology & Automation


  • Manage and optimize HRMS tools for payroll, attendance, and performance management. 
  • Implement automation for HR processes to improve efficiency. 
  • Maintain data security and confidentiality in HR systems. 


10. Compliance & Risk Management


  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor regulations and corporate governance standards. 
  • Manage employee contracts, NDAs, and legal documentation. 
  • Act as the first point of contact during audits or legal queries related to HR.

Requirements


  • 3–4 years of proven HR experience, preferably in IT/Technology or fast-paced organizations. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices across recruitment, compliance, performance management, and employee relations. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. 
  • Familiarity with HRMS tools and digital HR processes will be an added advantage.
