About The Opportunity

We are hiring an HR Operations Manager to run day‑to‑day HR operations for an on‑site India workforce. This role will own payroll execution, statutory compliance, HRIS data integrity, and operational HR processes that ensure a smooth employee experience and enable scalable growth.Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage end‑to‑end HR operations including payroll processing, reconciliations, and timely statutory filings (PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax).
  • Own HRIS/HRMS data accuracy, user administration, master data updates, and build recurring reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Drive efficient onboarding, induction, probation tracking, offboarding, and exit formalities while ensuring policy adherence and documentation.
  • Implement and enforce attendance, leave, shifts, and benefits administration with SLA ownership and audit‑ready records.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal for audits, vendor management (payroll vendors, benefits partners), and compliance remediation actions.
  • Continuously improve HR processes by identifying automation opportunities, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and KPI tracking to reduce manual effort and errors.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

  • 3–4 years in HR operations/HRIS or payroll roles with hands‑on experience in Indian statutory compliance (PF/ESI/TDS/PT).
  • Practical experience with HRIS/HRMS platform - (Keka)
  • SAP/SuccessFactors, Workday or similar) and payroll tools.
  • Strong operational rigour: payroll reconciliations, SLA management, document audits, and vendor coordination.
  • Good communication skills, stakeholder management (Finance, Legal, business managers) and problem‑solving mindset.

Preferred

  • Experience scaling HR operations in high‑growth tech or services organisations and exposure to process automation (RPA/HRIS workflows).
  • Basic HR analytics capability—creating dashboards, churn/attrition analysis, and operational metrics to inform leadership decisions.
