About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, execution-driven, culture-first Head of HR to build and scale the entire people function of 63SATS — India’s fastest-growing cybersecurity company.
This role requires someone who has set up HR from the ground up in a tech or cybersecurity startup, scaled teams from 0→1 and 1→100, and built a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
The ideal candidate is a builder, not an administrator — someone who enjoys designing systems, processes, culture, and structures that enable an ambitious company to grow rapidly, globally, and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Build the People Strategy aligned with 63SATS’ business, revenue, and product goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, COO, CTO, and leadership team.
- Set up a high-performance organizational design for rapid scale (India + global markets).
- Drive workforce forecasting, succession planning, and leadership development.
2. Culture Building & Org Health
- Build and protect a culture of ownership, accountability, speed, and empathy.
- Launch a Culture Operating System with rituals, communication norms, leadership behaviours, and feedback loops.
- Drive 63SATS’ employer brand internally and externally.
3. HR Policies & Governance
- Create and institutionalize all HR policies end-to-end:
- Hiring & onboarding
- Leave & attendance
- Payroll & compensation
- Probation, confirmation & performance cycles
- Exit & final settlement
- Remote/hybrid working
- Cybersecurity & compliance policies
- Ensure complete compliance with labour laws, POSH, PF/ESI, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.
- Implement risk-free contractual frameworks for an M&A-active, cybersecurity-focused enterprise.
4. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Build a world-class hiring engine to support high-velocity recruitment across tech, cybersecurity, AI, engineering, sales, and operations.
- Introduce competency mapping, hiring scorecards, and structured interviews.
- Develop relationships with recruitment agencies, cybersecurity communities, and engineering colleges.
5. Learning, Development & Capability Building
- Create a complete L&D ecosystem for cybersecurity, AI, sales, and leadership teams.
- Implement:
- Skill matrices
- Continuous learning journeys
- Manager enablement
- Leadership development programs
- Partner with external trainers and certification bodies (e.g., CISSP, CEH, SOC Ops, AI Security frameworks).
6. Performance Management & OKR Framework
- Implement a company-wide KPIs/OKR system aligned to business outcomes.
- Establish a transparent performance review and appraisal system.
- Build a culture of continuous feedback and coaching.
7. Compensation, Benefits & Rewards
- Structure competitive compensation frameworks for a cybersecurity-first workforce.
- Build:
- Variable pay models
- Sales incentives
- Technical performance bonuses
- Design and run the ESOP program strategically.
- Benchmark compensation with cybersecurity and AI tech companies.
8. HR Systems, Tools & Data
- Implement and own all HR systems:
- HRMS / HCM
- Payroll
- Attendance / leave
- Performance systems
- Recruitment ATS
- Build HR dashboards and analytics for attrition, cost, productivity, skill levels, and org health.
9. Employee Experience & Engagement
- Create a frictionless employee lifecycle from interview to exit.
- Design structured engagement initiatives, 1:1 frameworks, pulse surveys, and recognition programs.
- Build a safe, compliant, high-trust environment, including overseeing POSH.
Required Experience & Background
Must-Have
- 10–15+ years of HR experience with at least 5+ years in a fast-scaling tech or cybersecurity startup.

Key Personal Traits
- Founder-mindset: ownership, speed, outcome-orientation.
- High empathy with disciplined execution.
- Strategic thinker with operational depth.
- Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change.
