Position Overview:

Jivika Chem International Pvt Ltd is a globally focused chemical company specializing in delivering high-quality products and tailored solutions across diverse markets. With a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, we aim to expand our footprint in international markets and build long-lasting partnerships with clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement export sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive revenue growth by managing and expanding the export customer base.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Work closely with senior management to identify high-potential markets and segments.

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new leads in global markets.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through networking, industry events, referrals, and research.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and offers to potential clients.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Facilitate repeat business through proactive engagement and personalized solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

Order Processing & Coordination

  • Oversee end-to-end export processes including order placement, logistics coordination, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely execution of orders with accuracy in delivery schedules.
  • Work with supply chain and operations teams to track shipments and resolve any bottlenecks.
  • Ensure products meet export standards and regulatory requirements.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure accurate preparation of all export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork.
  • Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and logistics teams to maintain compliance with global trade laws and corporate policies.

Financial & Performance Reporting

  • Track sales performance metrics and report on key indicators such as revenue, order volume, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Provide actionable insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts related to export sales.

Market Intelligence & Networking

  • Stay informed about market developments, competitor strategies, pricing trends, and customer preferences.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility.
  • Establish partnerships with distributors, agents, and industry networks.


Key Accountability Areas:

  • End-to-end export sales cycle execution (from lead generation to payment receipt).
  • Timely submission of quarterly progress reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders/funding bodies.
  • Expansion of distributor/partner network in target countries.
  • Achievement of annual sales & revenue targets.
  • Compliance with international food safety, labeling, and export-import regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with global clients.
  • Negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and export-related software.
  • Understanding of export regulations, documentation, and logistics.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or related discipline, MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of export sales experience, preferably in the chemicals industry or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, hazardous material transport, and documentation procedures.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale export accounts and generating new business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
