About Us:-


Prof K. R Sundararajan, a well-known educationalist established the I.I.E.T society in 1947. The total area of 14 acres purchased with enormous hardship was donated to the IIET Society to further the cause of education. The society’s main objective is to give quality education and has ensured this uninterrupted since 1951. The society currently has the following institutions :-

1.     Meenakshi College For Women established in 1975 & affiliated to University of Madras offering Arts & Science programs with about 3000 plus students.

2.     Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College established in 2001 & affiliated to Anna University offering engineering programs with about 2000 plus students.

3.     Meenakshi Sundararajan School of Management established in 2000 & affiliated to University of Madras offering MBA programs with about 120 plus students.

4.     The NEST School established in 2022 offering IB (International Baccalaureate) & CAIE (Cambridge) boards.

All of the institutions have earned an enviable name and are rated as one among Top 10 colleges in the Tamil Nadu state in their respective programs. Efforts are on to make the campus carbon neutral in 2 years (end of 2025) by using our community of staff and students.

The institutions are defined by two keywords “Industry Ready” & “Vibrancy”. Creating a new generation of self-actualized learners is our raison d'etre. Role:-


The CEO will provide strategic leadership and direction for the group of institutions, ensuring academic excellence, operational effectiveness, and long-term sustainability. The role demands a visionary who can balance innovation in education with sound governance, build a culture of excellence, and drive the organization toward becoming one of the most respected educational ecosystems in India.



Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement the group's strategic plan & objectives.
  • Align operational activities with the overall vision and mission of the educational institutions.

Branding, Positioning & External Affiliations

  • Drive the overall branding and positioning strategy to establish The NEST as a leading institution nationally and internationally.
  • Represent the institution at high-level industry forums, conferences, and education summits.
  • Forge and nurture strategic affiliations with organizations such as

    TiE, CII, NASSCOM, Chambers Commerce, universities, and international boards

    .
  • Leverage external partnerships and networks to enhance visibility, credibility, and admissions pipeline.
  • Oversee marketing and communications strategy to ensure consistent brand messaging and strong market presence.

Operational Oversight:

  • Provide leadership and direction for all operational aspects of the institutions.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Academic & Operational Excellence

  • Collaborate with academic leadership to ensure best-in-class curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
  • Strengthen operational efficiency through robust systems, processes, and governance models.
  • Champion innovation in pedagogy, technology adoption, and global best practices.

Admissions, Marketing & Outreach

  • Oversee admissions, marketing, and community outreach strategies to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Guide the development of impactful campaigns, events, and programs that build the school’s reputation and generate leads.
  • Drive initiatives to expand outreach to premier audiences including CEOs, CXOs, and influencers within the education ecosystem.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for the group, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.

Infrastructure and Facilities Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of physical infrastructure and facilities.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Human Resources Management:

  • Work closely with the HR department to recruit, train, and retain qualified personnel.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Technology Integration:

  • Drive the integration of technology into educational processes and administrative functions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of information systems for efficient data management.

Regulatory/Statutory/Governmental Norms Compliance:

  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with all relevant educational regulations and accreditation standards. Appropriate liaison with all relevant agencies
  • Ensure complete and full compliance to all applicable norms/acts/compliance requirements.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high academic standards.
  • Regularly assess and improve the quality of educational programs and services.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster collaboration among different departments and campuses within the group.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including parents, government agencies, and accreditation bodies.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure the stability and reputation of the institutions.
  • Develop and implement crisis management plans.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in operational processes.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights for enhancing institutional effectiveness.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with the community, including parents, alumni, and local organizations.
  • Represent the educational institutions in community events and partnerships.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics to assess key performance indicators and make informed decisions.
  • Generate regular reports for the executive team and other stakeholders.

Safety and Security Strategy:

  • Develop, implement, and update a comprehensive safety and security strategy for the educational institutions.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assess potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Industry Partnership Development across the community:

  • Establish and nurture partnerships with industry leaders, businesses, and professional organizations.
  • Collaborate to develop internship programs, industry-specific projects, and opportunities for students to gain practical experience.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation:

  • Promote entrepreneurship and innovation within the campus.
  • Support the development of incubators, accelerators, and entrepreneurial programs that connect students with industry opportunities.

 


Qualifications and Requirements:

·       Education :-

o  Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

·       Industry

o  Strong Industry / Professional experience in senior management/leadership roles

o  Adherence to high ethical standards and a commitment to upholding the values and mission of the educational institutions

o  Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

o  Ability to analyze data and use it to inform strategic decisions.
