1.Recruitment & Onboarding
Oversee the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Work with department heads to forecast staffing needs.
Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees.
2. HR Policy & Compliance
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Manage disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
3. Performance Management
Design and manage the performance appraisal process.
Support managers in setting goals and KPIs for employees.
Address performance issues and support employee development.
4. Employee Engagement & Retention
Foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
Plan and implement employee engagement activities and events.
Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Manage payroll process in coordination with finance team.
Administer employee benefits, bonuses, and incentive programs.
Monitor market trends to ensure competitive compensation structure.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs and design learning programs.
Coordinate skill development and leadership training sessions.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
Maintain and analyze HR metrics and data (e.g., turnover, headcount).
Prepare regular reports for management on HR metrics.
8.Labor Law Compliance
Ensuring adherence to national/state employment laws (e.g., minimum wage, working hours, leave policies, etc.)
Following regulations under acts such as:
The Factories Act
The Shops and Establishments Act
The Payment of Wages Act
The EPF Act, ESIC, Gratuity, etc. (in India)
9.Statutory Compliance
Ensuring timely submission of:
PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, etc.
Filing statutory returns and maintaining relevant documentation.
10.Internal Policy Compliance
Creating and enforcing HR policies in line with company goals and laws.
Ensuring employees follow the code of conduct, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), disciplinary rules, etc.
11.Audit & Documentation
Preparing for and assisting in HR and labor law audits.
Maintaining accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation.
12.Risk Mitigation
Addressing non-compliance issues proactively to avoid penalties.
Ensuring smooth employee exits with proper documentation.
13.POSH Compliance
Forming an Internal Committee.
Conducting regular training.
Submitting annual reports to local authorities.
