About the Role

ServiceNow Process Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs related to CMDB and IT Asset Management.
Design and implement end-to-end processes for
CMDB and ITAM
in line with ITIL standards.
Perform
data modeling, CI class design
, and
CI relationship mapping
within ServiceNow.
Ensure data integrity and reconciliation of assets and CIs using ServiceNow Discovery and third-party integrations.
Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal stakeholders on CMDB/ITAM best practices.
Collaborate with technical teams and developers to configure, customize, and enhance CMDB/ITAM modules.
Perform periodic audits and support lifecycle management of IT assets.
Monitor and maintain compliance with license agreements, contracts, and procurement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–8 years
of experience as a ServiceNow Process Consultant or Business Analyst.
Proven experience with
ServiceNow CMDB
and
IT Asset Management modules
.
Strong understanding of
ITIL processes
, especially related to
Configuration Management and Asset Lifecycle
.
Experience working with
ServiceNow Discovery
,
Service Mapping
, and
integrations
for asset population.
Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
ServiceNow CSA or ITAM/CMDB micro-certifications (preferred).

Nice to Have

Experience with
ServiceNow HAM Pro or SAM Pro
.
Exposure to other modules like ITOM, ITSM, or Security Operations.
Hands-on experience in scripting (JavaScript) or workflow configuration in ServiceNow.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
