Job Role: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and optimization of process systems in chemical or bioenergy industries. The engineer will contribute to various stages of engineering design, from basic to detailed engineering, supporting project execution across our turnkey solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, BFDs, and CLDs for various process units. • Develop and validate heat and mass balance (HMB) for process schemes. • Assist in basic and detailed engineering for distillation, evaporation, fermentation, and dehydration systems. • Size and select equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, and other bought-out items. • Coordinate with the instrumentation and mechanical teams for interdisciplinary engineering inputs. • Prepare technical specifications and equipment datasheets. • Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and client meetings. • Support procurement by providing technical evaluation of vendor offers. • Assist in plant commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring if required. • Ensure adherence to process safety standards and regulatory compliance. Technical Skills Required: • Strong command over chemical process fundamentals. • Proficient in preparation and interpretation of PFD, PID, BFD, CLD. • Knowledge of pump & control valve sizing and selection. • Understanding of heat exchangers and distillation column design. • Familiarity with steam economy systems, MEE, bio-digesters, CBG units, etc. • Exposure to software tools like AutoCAD, MS Excel, and process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus / HTRI – optional). Preferred Experience: • 3–4 years in a process engineering role preferably in distillery, ethanol, fermentation, or bioenergy sector. • Experience working with turnkey engineering companies.
