Integrate BMC Remedy with external systems using web services and REST APIs. Apply patches and perform version upgrades to ensure system security, stability, and performance. Configure and maintain BMC Remedy v9.x in a high-availability, clustered environment. Customize BMC Remedy applications based on specific business and customer requirements. Manage user authentication and access using SSO (Single Sign-On), RSSO, and LDAP plugins. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and provide effective resolutions promptly. Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, offering support in consulting roles, including on-call support and occasional travel. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with BMC Remedy development, configuration, and upgrades. Strong practical experience with web services and REST API integration. Proven expertise in applying patches and upgrading Remedy AR Server and Mid-Tier. Proficiency in configuring BMC Remedy in a high-availability and clustered setup. Demonstrated ability to customize Remedy applications to meet unique customer needs. Solid understanding of identity and access management tools such as SSO, RSSO, and LDAP. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; flexible to work in client-facing and consulting environments. Day in the Life of a Remedy Developer As a Remedy Developer at IZT, your day involves developing and customizing BMC Remedy applications, integrating external systems via APIs, and ensuring optimal server performance through upgrades and patching. You troubleshoot issues, configure identity management tools like SSO and LDAP, and provide expert consulting to clients. Flexibility is key, with occasional on-call support and travel.
