Role Type: Full-time

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Product Manager to help scale our healthcare SaaS platform into new international markets. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving market readiness, localization, and adoption strategies while ensuring alignment with our global product roadmap.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise, deep understanding of healthcare workflows and quality metrics, and proven experience delivering scalable SaaS solutions across geographies. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, clinical, compliance, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality, regulatory-compliant products tailored for global users.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Readiness

  • Define and execute product strategies that enable successful market expansion and localization of our healthcare SaaS platform.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product features meet international clinical, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify localization gaps, pricing sensitivities, and adoption drivers for new regions.
  • Research and interpret region-specific healthcare quality programs and registries to ensure feature alignment and reporting compliance.
  • Translate global product vision into region-specific priorities while maintaining core platform consistency.

Product Requirements & Backlog Management

  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize clinical, regulatory, and customer feedback from international markets.
  • Translate requirements into actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain and prioritize a balanced product backlog focused on scalability, localization, and compliance.
  • Partner with engineering and UX teams to ensure internationalized and culturally appropriate user experiences.
  • Collaborate with Clinical SMEs and medical content experts to ensure clinical workflows and quality metrics are reflected accurately in product features.

Execution & Delivery

  • Lead Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives—to ensure on-time delivery of regional product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams on infrastructure, integration (FHIR/HL7), and deployment readiness.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product adoption, clinical efficiency, and market success.
  • Support pilot deployments with international customers and drive iterative improvements based on real-world feedback.

Customer, Clinical & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a bridge between product, engineering, clinical SMEs, and customer success teams across regions.
  • Partner with healthcare providers and administrators to validate feature usability and localization needs.
  • Engage with specialty-specific Clinical Advisory Boards (e.g., Gastroenterology) to align product development with practice standards and quality metrics.
  • Support commercial and go-to-market teams with product knowledge for regional rollouts and pilot site success.

Clinical & Quality Intelligence

  • Collaborate with clinical SMEs to understand specialty-specific workflows such as endoscopy documentation and reporting.
  • Incorporate regional quality and registry data requirements into analytics, dashboards, and benchmarking modules.
  • Ensure product features support accurate outcomes tracking and clinical benchmarking aligned with local standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Compliance, Clinical, and Engineering to ensure adherence to relevant medical devices, privacy, and data protection standards.
  • Align with leadership and product strategy teams to ensure regional priorities integrate seamlessly into the global roadmap.
  • Contribute to global governance forums, product reviews, and decision-making processes related to expansion.

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Product Management within a healthcare or health tech SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering localized or internationally deployed SaaS products.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical documentation, and interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD, CPT, SNOMED).
  • Familiarity with quality reporting frameworks and registry programs used in healthcare.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with engineering, design, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience expanding healthcare software into new geographies or regulatory environments.
  • Awareness of international healthcare quality reporting frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating with Clinical SMEs and advisory boards to align product features with specialty-specific quality and safety metrics.
  • Understanding of international healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, TGA, CE, etc.).
  • Exposure to AI/ML, data-driven decision support, or workflow automation in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated success leading pilots, beta programs, or localization projects for SaaS platforms.
