Lead Software Engineer - .Net + Angular

Job Summary

Lead a team of software engineers providing direction, training and guidance to implement software solutions. Work with a cross functional team, which includes developers, product managers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to implement solutions tightly aligned with business objectives. Partner with other engineering leads to ensure cloud infrastructure solutions are designed and built with a high level of quality, security and scalability. Utilize the latest full stack technologies and cloud services to produce exceptional software within a continuous integration/continuous delivery environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with Product Management and other functional teams to evaluate, develop and maintain product features for Provation productsMentor and provide professional development for team membersHelp plan and prioritize engineering team activities and backlogDevelop product expertise, technical mastery and build a teamEnsure standards and framework compliance across the development teamLead team to deliver planned commitments on timeLearn, understand and leverage cutting edge technologies to gain competitive advantageCreatively brainstorm and innovate on prototypes as well as future products and features to drive the business forwardProactively research industry trends and best practices to apply them as necessaryDeliver high-quality and on-schedule work according to Agile software development methodologyParticipate in Agile activities including daily stand ups, estimations, and backlog grooming and reviewsProvide internal development support which includes delivering fast and high-quality fixes to urgent production issuesActively create opportunities for code/component re-useLeverage existing frameworks, platforms and patterns to increase time to marketPromote and ensure standards and framework compliance across the development teamParticipate in code reviews providing guidance to Development and QA team members

Job Requirements

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred or equivalent work experienceAt 7+ years software development experienceProficiency with C# and .NETExperience with Entity Framework / EF CoreExperience with web-based technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, LESS and HTML5Experience with Angular (2+) and client-side web developmentExperience with unit testing frameworks such as XUnit and JasmineExperience with SQL and relational databases such as SQL ServerExperience with cloud platforms such as AzureSolid knowledge of security and encryption best practicesExperience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
