Role Overview

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes for both direct and indirect spend categories including technology, fleet, facilities, and corporate services. You will ensure that procurement activities align with MoveInSync’s business goals, cost optimization targets, and compliance standards.This is a strategic role requiring a strong mix of analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for various spend categories — technology, fleet operations, logistics, and corporate services.
  • Manage the entire procurement lifecycle: vendor identification, RFP/RFQ management, negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
  • Partner with business, tech, and finance teams to understand requirements and ensure timely sourcing and delivery.
  • Drive cost optimization and ensure value-for-money through competitive analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluation.
  • Lead supplier evaluation, risk assessment, and performance monitoring through regular review mechanisms.
  • Maintain and enhance vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and SLA adherence.
  • Implement and standardize procurement policies, compliance frameworks, and documentation.
  • Analyze spend data and create dashboards/reports to support strategic decisions and savings tracking.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using ERP or procurement tools.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are audit-ready and aligned with internal and statutory compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 6–10 years in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing, preferably in a tech-enabled or operations-intensive organization.
  • Proven track record in vendor management, negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP/procurement tools (SAP, Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of procurement compliance, contracting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive and result-oriented mindset.

Preferred Exposure

  • Experience handling procurement for transportation/fleet vendors, software tools, and infrastructure services.
  • Understanding of SaaS contracts, service-level agreements, and vendor performance metrics.
  • Exposure to start-up or mid-size tech-driven environments with dynamic operational needs.
