Procurement Manager

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Material Management & Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient inventory control, procurement of materials, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will excel in managing material needs, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating with vendors to support production timelines.

Responsibilities:-

1. Inventory Management & Stock Taking

• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels through regular stock-taking and audits.

• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate stock records.

2. Material Management and Procurement

• Source and procure essential materials in alignment with production schedules and quality standards.

• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

3. Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors, evaluating performance and compliance with company standards.

• Oversee vendor quality assessments and ensure timely delivery of materials.

4. Material Planning

• Anticipate material needs based on production forecasts and schedule material orders to avoid shortages.

• Coordinate closely with production and planning teams for seamless material flow.

5. Vendor Development for Purchasing

• Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers to build a reliable and competitive supply chain.

• Conduct vendor evaluations and periodic reviews to ensure alignment with company quality and cost expectations.

6. Purchase Order & Dispatch Planning

• Prepare and manage purchase orders for key materials, including foils, cartons, shippers, and alu-alu materials.

• Plan dispatch schedules to meet production requirements, coordinating closely with logistics and warehousing.
